Londoner Locksmith Golders Green

We cover the full range for homes, flats and businesses in NW11 — but here’s what we get called for most around Golders Green:

• Lockouts & non-destructive entry — we pick the lock and get you in without damaging a period door or a communal entrance wherever possible.
• BS3621 deadlocks for timber doors — the five-lever standard most insurers want on the area’s original front doors.
• High-security & anti-snap upgrades — for the larger homes toward The Bishops Avenue and Winnington Road end, where euro-cylinder snapping is the usual way in.
• Mansion-block & communal door entry — keyed-alike suites, communal front-door locks and master-key systems for landlords and managing agents.
• uPVC & multi-point repairs — realigning and re-gearing the mechanisms on rear and extension doors. See our uPVC door lock repair.
• Lock changes after lost keys or a move — including full lock changes and rekeying so old keys stop working.
• Burglary repairs — boarding, door and window repairs, and insurance-standard locks after a break-in.

No call-out fee, an upfront price before we start, and a guarantee on the work. Prefer to talk it through first? Call us for free advice on the right locks for your door.

A lot of NW11’s housing is 80–120 years old, and the locks often haven’t moved on. On an original timber door we fit a BS3621 mortice deadlock alongside the existing latch, keeping the look while bringing it up to insurance standard. On flats and mansion blocks we set up keyed-alike cylinders so one key runs the communal door and your own, and on the larger detached houses we fit anti-snap, anti-drill cylinders and British Standard locks. Just moved in? A lock change is the first thing worth doing — you never know how many keys are already out there.

Can you fit a lock on my conservation-area or listed front door? Yes. We fit insurance-approved BS3621 deadlocks and matching ironmongery into existing timber doors, so you meet your insurer’s requirements without altering a door you may not be permitted to replace.

Do you do communal doors and keyed-alike systems for mansion blocks? Yes — communal front-door locks, door entry, and keyed-alike or master-key suites for residents, landlords and managing agents across NW11.

How fast can you reach Hampstead Garden Suburb or Temple Fortune? Usually around 30 minutes. Our technicians are local and know the parking zones and the Finchley Road / Golders Green Road junction, so we route around the delays.

Do you work around Shabbat and festivals? Yes. We’re used to the local community and will arrange non-urgent work for times that suit you.
